Please be advised that on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, all High School staff and students will be going on a full-day ice fishing outing at the Narrows.
Departure: 9:30 AM from the school
Return: Approximately 2:30 PM
Students will remain at the site during the lunch hour and will be dismissed upon returning to the school. Once all students have been dismissed, staff will be dismissed as well.
Lunch will be provided by the school kitchen; however, students may bring their own lunch if they prefer.
Please note that this activity is weather permitting.

Parents and guardians of Grade 8 students are informed that if you are planning for your child to attend High School at North Caribou Lake First Nation School, please complete the registration process.
You may register by contacting the High School Counsellor, Marlene Morriseau. Registration forms are also available through the Elementary Counsellors, and you may reach out to them as well for assistance.

Please note that the cut-off time is 5:45 AM, and the group will depart promptly without waiting for anyone after this time.
It is the responsibility of parents and guardians to ensure that students arrive at the school on time for departure.

The school will be organizing a Mitchitoba Goose Hunting Trip from Saturday, April 18, 2026, to Friday, April 24, 2026. This trip is for High School and Grade 8 students.
Trip Schedule:
April 18: Departure from Round Lake to Winnipeg (Meeting at school at 5:30 AM)
April 19: Travel from Winnipeg to Mitchitoba
April 20–22: Goose hunting activities in Mitchitoba
April 23: Travel from Mitchitoba to Dryden (overnight stay)
April 24: Return travel from Dryden to Round Lake
Meeting Place: School at 5:30 AM on April 18, 2026 (Saturday)
Students are advised to come well-prepared and bring rubber boots, ski pants, jackets, hats, and gloves suitable for outdoor conditions.
The trip will be led by our Land-Based Workers, Bentley and Zack.
